Personality
As the heir to the throne Ophelia grew up with duty and responsibility ingrained within her. The constant reminder that she was in service of the people of Stril had taught her from a young age to humble herself, to listen and not to take their support for granted. As a child she was known to be brash and undertaking, fearless in the face of any challenge that she faced, giving her a relatively carefree upbringing. However, as age comes and her duty and role becomes clearer the female slowly turned more stern. Stubborn she remains, as well as dutiful and loyal to her purpose. Though there is a certain obsession that clings onto her as she is constantly thinking of ways to protect her kingdom at all costs.
Biography:
It all started with a 'once upon a time'. A kingdom, a king and his queen, and their daughter. Their only surviving child with a fate that was darker than any night, but eyes brighter than the stars. A token of hope, a harbinger of despair. That was the contradiction the prophecies brought with them as Ophelia was born. Not quite a blessing, yet not a curse.
The kingdom of Stril was known to be one of the greatest human kingdom to exist. None had to suffer hunger or thirst, none had to lose their heads in wars, none who had to sleep with one eye open out of fear. Stril was at its highest peak of prosperity when the princess was born. The courtiers called it a ominous sign, the citizens saw it as a blessing for the throne was guaranteed. Whatever was the truth would only come out much later.
Ophelia grew up with everything she wanted, but with a heavy duty on her back. It was a lesson she was constantly taught from young and a lesson she held close to her heart. Carefree as she was the female would often go out and interact with the crowd, learn from her people and help where she was needed. It made her popular and loved amongst the crowd, even with the most unfortunate, for she always tried to sympathise.
However, it was not to remain, as all good will leave. The brighter Ophelia shined the more the kingdom fell in decay, until the balance was tipped and neither could be sustained. The fall of Stril was sudden and all that remained was a legend.
